This beautiful hunting knife was designed and made by Rody Stan. The knife is not only stunning in looks, but it is also rock solid because of its robust construction with its 4 mm thick blade. The beautiful Damascus blade of the knife is the result of hours and hours of forging. Rody Stan hand-forged the blade of this knife with Damascus steel. The blade was given excellent heat treatment, and the Rockwell hardness along its edge is 54, and along the spine is 42-45. The 4 mm thick blade has fantastic hand grinds on both sides, with the top side left with a false edge. The overall length of this knife is a whopping 16.50″, and the length of the blade is 11.50″. The superb handle is a work of art. It is made of stained camel bone & pakka wood & brass spacers. The knife is complimented with a hand-casted brass guard & but cap. This sheath is not of universal size but is made custom, just like this custom knife. The knife comes with a custom-made, genuine, top-quality calfskin that fits the knife perfectly. The leather sheath is totally hand-tooled and sewn.

1095 High-carbon steel is formed using conventional techniques. It needs more force than low-carbon steels to perform this process. It is welded using all welding techniques. It is pre-heated at 260 to 315°C (500 to 600°F) and post-heated at 648 to 788°C (1200 to 1450°F). It is hardened at 899°C (1650°F). It is then quenched in oil, followed by tempering. The cutting edge of knives is hardened by heating and quenching to maintain the steel's toughness.
